Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
By downloading, installing, or using Guitar Input Monitor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Guitar Input Monitor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on any macOS device that you own or control, subject to the terms of this agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
The App is designed for real-time audio monitoring and guitar tuning purposes. It is intended for home practice and music production, live performance monitoring, instrument tuning, and general audio input monitoring.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Audio latency performance may vary depending on your hardware configuration and audio interface.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to hearing damage from improper volume levels.
You are responsible for using the App at safe volume levels to protect your hearing, ensuring your audio equipment is compatible with macOS, and granting necessary microphone/audio input permissions.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Guitar Input Monitor is designed with your privacy in mind. The App does not collect any personal information, does not record or store any audio data, does not transmit any data to external servers, does not use analytics or tracking services, and does not require an account or registration.
The App requires access to your audio input devices (microphone permission) solely for the purpose of real-time audio monitoring and tuning. Audio signals are processed locally on your device in real-time and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
The App may store your preferences (such as selected audio device, buffer size settings, and window position) locally on your device using standard macOS preferences. This data never leaves your device.
Guitar Input Monitor does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no risk of your personal information being compromised through our App.
